Del Mar Pines School is a non-sectarian institution, one in which tolerance and understanding are both emphasized and valued. We also believe that diversity is one of the most important lessons a child can learn. Diversity of thought. Diversity of background. And ultimately, diversity of contribution. For this reason, our student body is comprised of children with diverse academic and cognitive skills, ranging from average to superior.
To ensure that the elementary school experience is mutually rewarding, admission to Del Mar Pines involves interviews with parents and children, as well as a comprehensive evaluation of each prospective student's unique capabilities. With a maximum of twenty-two children per grade, space is extremely limited. Unfortunately, every year we have many more wonderful candidates than our enrollment permits.
