Del Mar Pines Players - Session 1

Welcome to DMP Players, an exciting summer class designed for incoming kindergarten and first-grade students! Join us for a fun-filled journey into the enchanting world of Fairytales, where your child will not only learn essential classroom routines and expectations but also explore the magic of storytelling and develop key literacy skills.

Throughout each session, students will dive into beloved Fairy Tales, discovering story elements such as predicting, retelling, and understanding characters and settings. They'll also have the opportunity to showcase their growing confidence and public speaking skills by participating in a musical production inspired by the stories we read.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Over the course of three weeks, children will engage in hands-on activities to enhance their fine motor skills as they create beautiful backdrops and props for our musical performance.
