3rd Grade Wins Typing Challenge

Throughout the month of November, Del Mar Pines students in 3 - 6th grade participated in an at home typing challenge to earn a free dress day and special snack. Our students use Typing.com as a structured educational platform to learn touch typing skills at their own pace, while having a lot of fun practicing typing with gamified lessons. Using this tool helps our students improve their typing speed and accuracy, to enhance their future academic performance, by completing assignments faster and with less effort. Our teachers have access to advanced progress tracking and reporting features that can monitor student progress and generate detailed reports such as the ones used to run this challenge.

Congratulations to the Del Mar Pines School 3rd grade class. They typed for a combined total of over 90 hours. Way to go Third Grade!
