Welcome to Adventures in Creative Writing where students will unleash the storytellers within. This writer’s workshop will focus on the ‘art’ of writing and explore the many purposes for writing. Why do we write? We write to express ourselves, we write for fun, we write to share our knowledge with others, to strengthen our grammar skills, and to enhance literacy within the community.

All writing lessons will be considered invitations to engage students’ creativity and allow students to find their own tones and voices. Nicole Lewis has an MFA in Creative Writing/Poetry and a passion for teaching writing to children. The class is aimed to cultivate the writer within and welcomes writers of all levels.
