5th Grade Field Trip Brings History to Life

Adventures on the Star of India Maritime Museum

Our 5th Grade students sign aboard as emigrants working for their passage to America on the world's oldest working tall ship the Star of India. On this epic (yet condensed) voyage our students abandon everything that is familiar to them and adapt to the new demands of shipboard life. The voyage takes them three quarters of the way around the world and they must communicate and work together in order to survive.
