DMP 2020 Shining Stars Appreciation

Dear DMP families thank you for your participation in Shining Stars 2020. With gratitude, we thank you for your generous donations.

Each year, DMP supports children in need by collaborating with community organizations during the holiday season.

This year, we partnered with two organizations: Casa De Oro Head Start and Monarch School. Casa De Oro is an early education program that provides quality school readiness and comprehensive services in Spring Valley. Monarch School is a public school located in Barrio Logan that serves homeless students in grades K-12 in San Diego County.

For Casa De Oro, DMP was asked to provide specific wish list gifts, pajamas, and a blanket to individual children.

Thank you to all who donated the wish list gifts of toiletries, COVID PPE supplies, and winter essentials to donate to the Monarch School’s Butterfly Boutique, the on-campus store where students and families can shop for basic need items.
