DMP Families Make Generous Donations

Each year, Del Mar Pines School families support children in need by collaborating with community organizations during the holiday season. This year, we continued to partner with Casa De Oro Head Start. Casa De Oro is an early education program that provides quality school readiness and comprehensive services in Spring Valley. 

DMP was asked to provide specific wish list gifts, pajamas, blankets for individual children at Casa De Oro, and blankets and stuffed animals for siblings.  Once again, our DMP community donated a generous amount to the Shining Stars program! A special thank you to all who donated the wish list gift items!

Martha Terrell, Director of the Casa De Oro Head Start program, was so grateful when she received all the donations from DMP. She sent a ‘thank you’ card signed by the families who received the Shining Star gifts and and a beautiful plaque for DMP to show her appreciation!
