Giving Back to our Community

Nov 19, 2021 |  | Marci McCord

This Thanksgiving season, we were asked to support less fortunate families from the Casa De Oro Head Start program.

We sponsored 10 families, with family sizes of 2-8 people that really needed help this Thanksgiving. Many of our families brought in food donations for their classes and gift cards. Our generous DMP community donated a huge amount of food and over $4,700 in grocery gift cards for the 10 families!

When asked why we love donating and giving back to the community, our answer is simple. We believe it is vital for our students who are very blessed and fortunate to learn the importance of giving back to the community. We want to instill in them the importance of supporting others who are less fortunate than themselves.
