Graduation and Talent Showcase Highlighting 6th Grade Students
The Graduation of our 6th grade students is a very special time at Del Mar Pines as we celebrate our students’ accomplishments and end of elementary school journey. It is a big transition from elementary school to middle school and we take this time to celebrate and honor these remarkable students for their character, talents and contribution to our school. Our community of teachers, staff, student body, and families come together to wish the class a successful future and bid them farewell by recognizing them individually.
We start with our long standing tradition of the 6th grade talent showcase where each graduating child shares a unique talent such as playing an instrument, singing, dance, gymnastics, sharing about a hobby, sport, artwork, photography, or giving a speech. The graduation ceremony follows this special and unique portion of our celebration. Each student is spoken about individually by our director and speeches are given by both our director and the students’ teacher.
