Science Discovery Day Rules

Del Mar Pines school was honored to host its 27th Science Discovery Day. It is a full day of immersive hands-on science exploration from a group of enthusiastic parents and community members sharing their hobbies or occupations that rely on scientific, technical, or mathematical principles. The program demonstrates and exposes our students to the vast array of scientific principles and applications surrounding our everyday lives.

Through exciting demonstrations and activities, we aim to inspire our students and ignite their passion for science. In past years, we’ve had a wide range of presentations—from microbiologists showing bacteria under microscopes to dentists teaching proper dental care, fitness trainers demonstrating the importance of exercise, and even flight instructors guiding students through the dynamics of airplanes.

By experiencing this full day, dedicated to the hands-on exploration of science, Del Mar Pines school students walk away from Science Discovery Day enthusiastic and excited about science.
