Student-Led Open House: Kindergarten through 6th-grade

The annual Student-Led Open House is a great tradition that all Del Mar Pines families love. Students from Kindergarten through sixth-grade all work hard to put together a tangible and digital portfolio highlighting all the amazing work they accomplished through their entire school year. This process teaches students how to edit and prioritize their work to showcase as well as providing yet another opportunity to practice their verbal presentations.

These portfolios include projects from our students’ core class work and self published books which they write and illustrate in class. DMP students also highlight projects from their ancillary classes such as music, art, hands-on science, technology, Spanish and more.  Our students then share their impressive work with their families and the broader DMP community.
