Supporting our Community: Thanksgiving Food Drive Brings Joy

This Thanksgiving season, we were asked to support families in need from the Casa De Oro Head Start program.

We sponsored 18 families, with family sizes of 2-8 people, that needed help this Thanksgiving. Many of our families brought food donations for their classes and gift cards. Our generous DMP community donated a considerable amount of food and over $4,000 in grocery gift cards for the 18 families!

When asked why we love donating and giving back to the community, our answer is simple...We believe it is vital for our students, who are very blessed and fortunate, to learn the importance of giving back to the community. We want to instill in them the importance of supporting others who are less fortunate than themselves.
