Thanksgiving Food Drive!

Del Mar Pines has a great tradition of getting its staff and students involved in philanthropic activities that directly impact families in our surrounding communities. This Thanksgiving season, we have been asked to support less fortunate families from the Casa De Oro Head Start Program. Each grade has been assigned a non-perishable item to donate. Gift cards are also greatly appreciated so the families can buy perishable items such as turkeys. More detailed information will be sent home in your child’s weekly folders. Donations will be collected in your child’s classroom starting on Monday, November 8, through Monday, November 15. All items will be dropped off at Head Start Thursday, November 18.

Del Mar Pines has always been very generous and thoughtful during our “Thanksgiving Food Drive,” if you are able and willing to donate items from other grade levels, they would be greatly appreciated. We want to ensure we have a good variety of food items. We thank you for your generosity and help in making this a success!
